Why The Recruitment Is Running Now
Respiratory season raises patient volume and staff absence at the same time. A facility that begins recruiting at that point is competing for candidates against every other facility in the same position, and is waiting on credentialing while the surge runs.
YTC Healthcare is recruiting and verifying candidates ahead of that window so placements can be made from a pool that has already cleared licensure, certification and background checks.
What Candidates Can Expect
Registered nurses, personal support workers and other healthcare professionals can join the YTC talent pool through the careers section of the website.
Credentialing is completed before an offer, so a confirmed start date is not pushed back by paperwork. Placements cover facility, homecare and specialized care settings. Each candidate has a named recruiter, and pay terms are set out before an assignment is accepted.
What Facilities Get
Care homes and hospitals in Ontario and Quebec can request cover from candidates who have already been screened against a clinical requirement rather than a job title. Onboarding and compliance documentation are handled by YTC.
Placements are reviewed at ninety days rather than counted at signature, and where a placement is not the right fit, YTC replaces the candidate against the corrected requirement.
