About YTC Healthcare

YTC Healthcare provides medical billing and healthcare staffing to healthcare organizations in Canada and the United States. The billing team manages the revenue cycle from eligibility verification through coding, claims, payment posting, denial management, accounts receivable and reporting. The staffing team recruits, screens, credentials and places healthcare professionals across facilities, homecare and specialized care.

YTC Healthcare operates from two offices, one in Mississauga, Ontario and one in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Billing services are available to providers in both countries. The company holds staffing permits in Ontario and Quebec and is certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

YTC Healthcare has worked in healthcare staffing for more than ten years. The company began by placing nurses, personal support workers and physicians with facilities in Ontario and Quebec. YTC Healthcare later expanded its services to include medical billing and revenue cycle management.

Yes. YTC Healthcare runs both services under one licensed company. A practice can use the same provider to manage its revenue cycle and to fill its clinical roles, with a named contact on each side.

Yes. Billing and staffing can be engaged independently. Many clients use one service only, and there is no requirement to take both. A practice can also hand over a single stage of its billing rather than the whole function.

YTC Healthcare works with physicians and medical practices, clinics, hospitals, long-term care homes, dental practices, childcare centres, homecare organizations and families. On the billing side, clients range from single-provider practices to multi-specialty groups.

Yes. YTC Healthcare provides small practice billing for single-provider and small-group practices, as well as full revenue cycle management for larger organizations. Scope and pricing are set per engagement based on claim volume, specialty and which stages of the cycle are included.

Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle

YTC Healthcare provides medical billing and revenue cycle services for physicians, private practices, clinics, hospitals and other healthcare organizations. Scope is set per engagement based on the organization’s specialty, claim volume, payer mix and existing internal billing structure.

A medical billing company handles the administrative work that converts patient care into payment. That covers checking insurance coverage before a visit, assigning the correct codes, submitting claims, posting payments, appealing denials and following up on unpaid balances. The practice keeps clinical responsibility and the billing company handles the process around it.

Revenue cycle management is the end-to-end handling of a provider’s financial process, from the moment a patient is scheduled to the moment the account is closed. It includes eligibility checks, coding, claim submission, payment posting, denial recovery, accounts receivable follow-up and reporting. Medical billing is one part of that wider cycle.

Yes. YTC Healthcare manages the full revenue cycle, from eligibility and benefits verification through coding, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, accounts receivable follow-up and reporting. A practice can outsource the entire function or use YTC Healthcare for selected stages.

Yes. A practice can hand over a single stage rather than the whole function. Common arrangements include coding only, denial management only, or accounts receivable recovery on aged claims while the practice keeps day-to-day submission in house.

Yes. YTC Healthcare confirms coverage, benefits and authorization requirements as part of the billing process. These checks identify coverage and authorization issues before claims are submitted rather than after a denial has been returned.

Yes. YTC Healthcare’s coders apply ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes, the standard code sets used to describe diagnoses, procedures and supplies. Codes are selected to the level of specificity the clinical documentation and applicable payer requirements support.

Yes. YTC Healthcare prepares and submits claims through clearinghouse systems and monitors them through payer processing. Claims are checked against applicable payer requirements before submission, and the team monitors submission acknowledgements and processing status.

Yes. YTC Healthcare posts payments and compares each one against the contracted rate. A claim that has been paid has not necessarily been paid correctly, so underpayment is identified at this stage and reported separately from denial recovery.

YTC Healthcare reviews the reason for each denial, makes the required correction and manages the appropriate appeal or follow-up. A denied claim is not resubmitted unchanged. Recurring denial causes are recorded so the underlying billing issue can be corrected at the stage that produced it.

Yes. YTC Healthcare follows up on outstanding claims and balances and records the next action and date for each open account. The team works to an internal target of keeping accounts receivable under 40 days.

Yes. YTC Healthcare reviews coding and documentation to identify risk before a payer does. An audit can be run as a standalone engagement or as part of an ongoing billing arrangement, and findings are reported with the specific documentation gaps that produced them.

Yes. YTC Healthcare manages provider credentialing and payer enrolment so providers can bill without delay. Credentialing is also available separately from billing, which is useful for practices adding a provider or entering a new payer contract.

Yes. YTC Healthcare bills for cardiology, radiology, dermatology, pediatrics, behavioral health and durable medical equipment. Each specialty carries its own coding conventions and payer rules, and claims are handled by staff familiar with that specialty rather than by one general team.

Yes. YTC Healthcare bills United States commercial and government payers and Canadian provincial plans including OHIP. Each side is handled by staff familiar with that payer environment, and the applicable privacy framework is applied separately for each country.

YTC Healthcare records a baseline before an engagement begins and reports performance against it. Reporting shows first-pass acceptance, denial categories, accounts receivable ageing and underpayment recovery. YTC Healthcare tracks every claim against a target of 95% or higher first-pass acceptance, and works to an internal target of accounts receivable under 40 days.

No. YTC Healthcare does not guarantee a collection rate, a denial rate or a cash flow outcome. Payer decisions and adjudication timelines are outside any billing company’s control. YTC Healthcare tracks every claim against a target of 95% or higher first-pass acceptance, and reports results against a baseline recorded before work began.

No. Payer coverage depends on the specialty, the state or province and the enrolments already held by the practice. YTC Healthcare confirms which payers are covered during scoping, before any agreement is signed, rather than claiming universal coverage.

Healthcare Staffing

YTC Healthcare provides temporary, contract and permanent placement for healthcare facilities, homecare providers and private families. The service covers sourcing, screening, credential verification, background checks, compliance documentation, onboarding and post-placement review.

YTC Healthcare places registered nurses, personal support workers, physicians, physiotherapists and other therapists, social service workers, developmental support workers, and dietary and support staff. Roles range from single-shift cover to permanent positions.

YTC Healthcare staffs hospitals, clinics, long-term care homes, dental practices, childcare centres and private homes. Coverage includes both clinical and support roles, and a facility can request a single shift or a full department build.

Yes. YTC Healthcare handles short-notice temporary cover, contract placements and permanent recruitment. Facilities often use temporary cover first and convert a placement to permanent afterwards, which is arranged under the terms of the applicable services agreement.

YTC Healthcare screens candidates against the clinical requirement of the role rather than the job title. Licence and certification verification, reference checks and criminal record checks are completed before an offer is made. A facility interviews only candidates who have already cleared that process.

Yes, and both happen before an offer rather than after. Licensure and certification are verified with the issuing body, and reference and criminal record checks are completed as part of the same pre-offer process. A facility receives candidates who have already cleared verification.

YTC Healthcare does. Compliance documentation and onboarding sit with the YTC team rather than with a facility’s HR department, so the facility is not administering the paperwork alongside its own hiring process.

YTC Healthcare reviews placements after the initial placement period rather than treating a signature as the end of the engagement. Where the applicable staffing agreement provides for replacement, YTC Healthcare works with the facility to identify a suitable replacement against the corrected requirement.

It depends on the role, the licensing requirement and the location, and YTC Healthcare provides a realistic estimate with each request rather than a standard promise. Short-notice cover is possible because candidates are screened and credentialed before a request arrives. Specialist and licensed roles take longer.

YTC Healthcare holds a temporary help agency permit in Ontario and a personnel placement permit in Quebec, and is certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Placement in any other province or state is not automatic. The company’s regulatory position in that jurisdiction is confirmed first, and placement is not offered before that confirmation.

Homecare and Specialized Care

Yes. YTC Healthcare places in-home nurses, personal support workers and personal care staff for private homes as well as for homecare organizations. Coverage includes short visits, full-day support and continuous care arrangements.

Yes. YTC Healthcare places staff for dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, ALS care and acquired brain injury support, alongside developmental support workers. Candidates are screened against the specific care requirement rather than placed from a general pool.

Yes. Families can arrange in-home and specialized care staffing directly rather than through a facility or agency intermediary. The same screening and credential verification applies to a family placement as to a hospital placement.

The screening and verification process is the same. The difference is the setting and the shift pattern. Facility staffing usually covers scheduled shifts within an existing clinical team, while homecare placements involve a single professional working in a private residence, often with continuity over a longer period.

For Healthcare Professionals

Applications are submitted through the Careers section of the YTC Healthcare website rather than through the general contact form. The careers form collects the licensing and availability details recruiters need, which produces a faster response than a general enquiry.

YTC Healthcare recruits registered nurses, personal support workers, physicians, physiotherapists and other therapists, social service workers, developmental support workers, and dietary and support staff. Openings cover hospitals, clinics, long-term care homes, dental practices, childcare centres and private homes.

Applicants should expect to provide proof of licensure or certification, identification, work eligibility documentation, references and consent for a criminal record check. Specific requirements vary by role and by province or state. A recruiter confirms the exact list before an offer is made.

Yes. Licensure, certification, references and criminal record checks are completed before an offer is made rather than after. That sequence protects the start date, so a confirmed placement is not delayed while paperwork is processed.

Both. YTC Healthcare places professionals in short-notice temporary cover, contract assignments and permanent roles. Many professionals begin with temporary assignments and move to a permanent position with a facility they have already worked in.

Roles are available in Ontario and Quebec, where YTC Healthcare holds staffing permits, and in Pennsylvania, where the company is certified by the state Department of Health. Availability in other provinces and states depends on the engagement.

A recruiter contacts applicants directly by phone or email and guides them through screening and placement. Timing and next steps depend on the role applied for and the status of the application.

Licensing, Compliance and Privacy

Yes. YTC Healthcare holds Ontario Permit THA-0000002579 as a temporary help agency and Quebec Permit YTC-AP-2202698 for personnel placement, and is certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Each of these can be verified with the issuing authority before a facility signs anything.

Yes. YTC Healthcare is a certified member of the American Medical Billing Association, the professional body for medical billing in the United States. That standing supports the coding practice, ethics and continuing education standards the billing team works to.

The framework applied depends on where the client operates, and the frameworks are handled separately rather than as one general standard. United States engagements follow HIPAA. Ontario engagements follow PHIPA. PIPEDA governs personal information handled in commercial activity in Canada.

Yes, for United States clients. Where YTC Healthcare accesses protected health information on behalf of a covered entity, it acts as a Business Associate under HIPAA. A Business Associate Agreement is signed before any protected health information is handled.

Yes, for Canadian clients. In Ontario, PHIPA applies and YTC Healthcare acts as an agent of the health information custodian, with use limited to that custodian’s purposes. PIPEDA governs personal information handled in the course of commercial activity across Canada.

No. Website forms are not a secure channel for personal health information and should not be used for it. Any clinical or patient data required for an engagement is exchanged through the secure method agreed in the services agreement.

Getting Started

Contact the team through the website, by phone or by email, and say whether the enquiry concerns billing, staffing or a job application. Enquiries are answered within one business day and acknowledged with a named contact rather than a reference number.

For billing, the team needs the specialty, approximate monthly claim volume, the payers involved and which stages of the cycle are in scope. For staffing, it needs the role, the setting, the shift pattern and the location. Quotes are provided per role and per service before any commitment.

Yes. Send a recent denial file and the billing team returns the categories driving most of the rejections and the stage of the cycle that prevents each one. There is no charge and no commitment attached to it.

Submit the role, the shift pattern and the location through the contact form, or call the office directly. Urgent coverage requests are handled faster by phone than by form, and a recruiter returns a realistic fill estimate rather than a standard promise.

YTC Healthcare can be reached through the website contact form, by email or by calling the relevant office. The Mississauga office supports Canadian clients and the Philadelphia office supports United States clients. Current phone numbers and addresses for both are on the Contact Us page.
